What really is this organization: NACA
They call themselves Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America. My friend who recently got out of bankruptcy was excited about the possibility of NACA helping her to buy a house. I went to NACA.com and they do promise a lot. Is this organization legitimate? Does anyone know somebody with a good experience with NACA? Is there a price one may regret later?

Where does NACA gets its funding since it seems to cost practically nothing?

They look legit. They have been in existence for more than 15 years. Their funding comes from partner lending institutions. They claim to be HUD ceritfiedm but since that should be easy to check I assume its true.

I don't know how good they are at what they do, or are supposed to do, but I did a quick check on the HUD website and they are listed there as a HUD Approved Housing Agency.
