    Live in P.A. with child. Battling for custody in N.Y
    I am a resident of Pennsylvania and my sons father is filing for custody in New York. Can I have custody hearing moved to Pennsylvania? I am pregnant and was advised not to travel that far.

    Custody of whom ? Are we talking about an existing child or are we talking about unborn ? Also has there been any custody support hearings yet if its for an existing child ? How long have you and the child resided in the state of Pa ?

    That's impossible to say without more facts. Where was the child born, how long have you lived in PA, how long has the child been in PA, when did the dad file in NY? How long did the child live in NY? When did you move (if at all)?
