    Heavy period?
I feel that my period is really heavy
    Its not a recent thing
Its been that way since the beginning
Its just to the point wer I avoid going out etc
Also, it used to be every 30 days or so
Now its closer to 3 weeks over the last year

Have you thought about asking your doctor whether you can go on the contraceptive pill?

A lot of people with heavy or irregular bleeding start taking it as it makes you bleeding lighter and regulates your cycle :)

    Tell your mum about it.

How old are you by the way?

There is nothing at all to be embarrassed about!
Tell you mum about the heavy periods, you don't have to mention the pill if you don't want, just ask her if you can go to the doctor.
I know some parents would think that you are only asking because you are sexually active which makes it hard but if your doctor prescribes it then there are no problems... he might even have another option for you :)

Best way to go in my opinion :)

While it doesn't help everyone, most people find that their periods get lighter.
Not only that but you can pretty much time to the second when your period is going to start.
Your doc will tell you if it is suitable for you :)
