    Could this be twins?
    Hello,
I am on my 5th pregnency and at 5 Weeks my hCG level was at 20,000, I am measuring larger then expected for my due date. I am currently at 8 weeks and am starting to feel flutters that I know I did not feel with the four other pregnant until about 5 months! I am having the feeling of twins and wondering if anyone else has been in this same situation?

hcg levels differ from woman to woman, it could be twins but until 2 heart beats are detected or 2 viable fetus on the ultrasound it can be suspected but not confirmed. In regards to getting bigger and feeling the fluters, fetuses usually start to move at 8 weeks but normally they are felt during the second trimester anywhere from week 16-27. Woman who have had children in the past often feel the flutters and kicks a lot sooner than first timers.

AT 8 weeks its impossible to feel flutters as the fetus is only a few centimeters, even if it's twins.

At 8 weeks it's still hard to detect the heartbeat, even by ultrasound, that is more common around 10 weeks.

The fluttering you are feeling is most likely peristalysis (digestion), and wanting to feel movement.
