How did you install both "XP Home" and "XP Pro" on it? Did you install them in separate partitions? If not, only the last one installed will work.

If they are on different partitions, you can edit a hidden file, BOOT.INI that's in the root of the c: drive. Make sure the "timeout" is set to something large enough for you to manipulate (30 seconds or so, for example). The partitions are specified in the "[operating systems]" section. There will be something like "multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Micr osoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect". A second partition on the same disk will be similar except the partition(#) will be different. Likewise, a partition on a different hard drive will have rdisk(#) different. You shouldn't have to set this up -- it will be set up automatically by the Windows installer.
