Is physical presence is needed for filing the divorce
It has been 1 year after my marriage. My husband is working abroad. After the marriage we stayed together for 20days and then he went back. After that he didn't call me or try to take me there. He is not ready to take me there also.I don't know wat's wrong with him.
Now he is telling his parents that he wants to be free and this marriage is a burden for him.
But he is not ready to come here for the divorce. He is telling he won't take any step for the divorce,at the same time he won't keep any relation with me also. Now I'm leading a deserted life.No one in my family is taking any step for making things clear.Wat I can do in this situation? Is his presence necessary while filing the divorce?shld he come india during the process?

I think it is important to see a lawyer and find out what you need to do legally.

It is probably not a good idea to wait for somebody else to explain things to you- like his family.

Even if you visit a lawyer for some general guidance and advice, you will at least be informed enough to make decisions when the time comes.

    Good luck.

I assume you are in India. Where is your husband?
