    Help! :confused:

    I have a Briggs 16HP L-Head 12V electric start motor (401707 0131-01 78011812) that was given to me. I want to put it on my current riding mower but all the wires have been cut and the bitter ends are just hanging from different places on the motor.

    I've been able to determine that this motor has a dual-pole alternator and a 392329 Armature Magnetron Assembly (I have located a partslist online!) :p However, I have no idea what type or model of tractor/mower this engine came off so I can't find any reference material that will assist me in re-wiring the enging correctly.

    Please, please if anyone can help me with wiring diagrams or instructions on how to re-wire this motor, I would sincerely appreciate it!!
