I have liked this one guy for a long time and I thought he liked me too, but then just recently he told me and a few other of my friends he has a girlfriend. At first I was sad but I decided we would just be friends, but lately he seems even more flirty now that he has a girlfriend which is weird. He used to be shy and weird around me, but now he's more open and he's always smiling. I just don't know what this means, why is he more closer and open now then he was when he was single. IDK what to do... Guys what does this mean?

Does this girlfriend exist? Perhaps it was just a story to see if you still liked him?

Only way to know for sure is to ask him, be prepared for some harsh words from his girlfriend if she does exist though.

Are you sure you want to pursue this guy? It could ruin your friendship if you decide to throw yourself at him when the feeling is not mutual. Don't confuse flirting for friendship, make sure what you are seeing is crystal clear :)

Thanks, I think I might just let go of the relationship and keep the friendship. He sent me too many confusing messages. Also I know this girlfriend does exsist because he text her t24/7 and my Best friend knew about her before I did. But thanks for the advice I think I'm going to use it :)

Yeah I would say the answer lies in does he really have a girlfriend or not.
If he was just saying that he did he may have said that just to keep you from getting too serious or too aggressive before he was sure where he wanted things to go.
If he does have a girlfriend then it is likely that he feels comfortable that you know he is off limits.
Either way I wouldn't read anything into what he says and does because he doesn't sound very straightforward.

If he has a girlfriend and is happy with her, he is probably more confident in himself because of his relationship. If so, I don't see him leaving it.

Some people are just flirty but that doesn't mean you have to pay it any attention.

Just don't cross the line and maybe you should tell him "Look I don't like it when you do this so cut it out".
