    No cold water
Hello we shut our water off to the house at main valve. We replaced a kitchen faucet and a washer in the bathroom sink. I now have no cold water in the bathroom. Not in the shower, nor the sink, nor the toilet will fill up with water. The rest of the house has cold water including the sink that was replaced. Need help, I have kids and they can't shower or use bathroom.

If you have old galvanized pipe, you may have rust and debris in the pipes that could be blocking some of the items. When the water is shut off and pipes are drained and the water is turned back on, with the pressure from the main it will scrub off debris from the inside of the pipe. There may also be debris in the aerator of your faucets.

What valve is leaking? The meter or house shut off? Where's the leak at? The stem or another p-lace. Please explain, Tom

I believe it is at the main valve at the house shut off valve. I don't know about a stem or anything I just know when the kids opened the cover it was full of water and they kept trying to scoop it out and nothing could stop it. It is not a gushing water but it is enough to keep it full.

Is this valve inside or outside? Sounds like its outside. Time to get a plumber in there asap to see what's happening. You might try using a wet vac or sump pump to get the water out so you can see where the leak is at.
