    Sewer smell from new faucet
I recently replaced my old bathroom faucets, p-trap, etc, and have noticed a sewer smell coming from the faucets. NOT THE DRAIN. The smell is ONLY noticeable when I do not use it for several hours like in the morning or when I come home from work. If I let the water run for say 10-15 seconds, the smell vanishes. I've already replaced all the hoses, both hot and cold, from the wall to the faucets. I have dual vanity sinks that connect together into one p-trap. Both faucets smell. Please help!?

I have that smell from time to time over the years and put it down to a 'gas' smell, not 'sewer gas' smell. If you have ever smelled 'sewer gas' you would realize that isn't the proper description. Some people used to call it a 'rotten egg' smell. If the smell vanishes, then don't worry about it.
