    Mars' Incredible "Grand Canyon"
I was just doing some cleanup on my computer and ran across this picture.

    Just thought I'd share it.

Most know Mars is much smaller than Earth, and some know that Mars has a canyon colloquially called the "Grand Canyon" (formerly known as Valles Marineris).

Here is a picture of Valles Marineris with an outline of the USA over it to give you an idea of it's size compared to our (the USA) own incredible Grand Canyon.

Can you imagine standing on the rim of this canyon?!

    Funny.

But there are some people out there who really do believe Mars is red. Not so much that they are stupid, but simply not properly informed.

Got home from the Brewer game this afternoon and noticed the house was warm(78). Outside was 91. I checked the T-stat and it was set correct. Noticed the air vents weren't blowing anything. Went outside and the condenser and fan was running fine. Then I went downstairs to the furnace unit to see...

Who did this song: from the 80's, probably called "typical" or "that's typical" [ 2 Answers ]

Some lyrics as I hear them: Windowsill, my elbow's numb As I heard the door go and saw your car As it glides onto the road Double wasted dumbness Sodding off and I can't hear you go And that's typical There you sit in the driving seat

Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon in January? [ 0 Answers ]

I'll be in Sedona for a week in January with teens and husband. What's closed and what's open within a day's drive in Arizona at that time of year? For example, can we drive to the Grand Canyon and back in one day? Is the Jerome ghost town open during winter?
