I think it sounds beautiful. I would talk to the hairdresser about what to do with your hair. The day of semiformal, bring pictures into the salon so the hairdresser has a better idea of what everything will look like! Have fun

The outfit sounds great. I would suggest wavy or curly hair. I loved sporting the curly bob when my hair was short... or a nice elegant uptwist.
