    Name of a Made for TV Movie/Pilot
    This has been bugging me for quite some time. I remember watching a movie in the early to mid 70’s (I think) when I was a wee lad. I don't remember a lot about it, only that it was about a wanderer in the US southwest. (Arizona, New Mexico, Utah.) In his wanderings, he discovers an ancient artifact that looks American Indian in nature. In doing research on it he discovers a legend that the piece is one part of a puzzle that, when put together with the other pieces, would offer up revelations about who we are and where in the universe we come from. Two images have remained with me. The first is him swimming in a pool in the Grand Canyon (I think) and the second is him walking into the sunset at the end of the movie. Looking back on it, I believe it was a pilot for a potential series where he would search for the rest of the pieces. But because the movie didn’t do well, the series was never made. I've checked IMDB to no avail and have tried a few other forums with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!
