    Would like to know the hydrostatic pressure of a vessel if the pressure is 3000psi

    The pressure of 3000 psi you are referring to is a result of the weight of liquid column, so the hydrostatic pressure will be equal to that pressure plus the atmosheric pressure.

    Hydrostatic pressure = 3000 psi + 14.7 psi
    = 3014.7 psi



    Definition of Hydrostatic Pressure: The pressure at a given depth in a static liquid is a result the weight of the liquid acting on a unit area at that depth plus any pressure acting on the surface of the liquid (atmospheric in open to ambient vessels).
