How do you take some one off a property deed? Is it expensive to do?

The person being removed from ownership has to sign a deed transferring their interest to the other owners. They can do it on their own (not recommended) or it can be done by a title company or real estate attorney. It's not that expensive. The preparation and recording can be done for under $200.
