Company Called Protégé Svcs Calling My 800 Number
There is a company called Protégé Svcs that calls my 800 number almost daily. My 800 number is fairly new. If any of you have encountered this company would you please comment. Also, what type of legal action could I take if I find out that the company that I have my 800 number with is actually making these calls to profit?

I very much appreciate any and all advice.

    Thank You!

Looks like they piss a lot of people off:
817-238-0794 / 8172380794 Owner Information And Complaints On Protege Services
Don't know if you can do anything. Elect me President on 2012, I will eleminate all like them, will fine them heavily and make a profit from Them, instead of them sucking Time and Money from My Fellow Americans, and All peoples.
    Good Luck for now.

Thank You. I did see that others are being harassed and submitted an entry there early.

I appreciate your response. And thank you for the luck:)

    Hello Safe:

I'm not too technical, but can't you just block a phone number?? That way, you'll never know they called.

I need to call my 800 company and find out. If it were my home phone I certainly could.
    Thank you for your input.

At a company I used to work for I would get at least 12+ calls a day from "robots" pitching all sorts of things. I would listen to the end of their spiel and sometimes I would be given an option of pressing 2 or 9 or 8 or whatever to be taken off their call list. Sometimes I would not receive this option but I would try this instead. I would start with 1, then 2, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 all numbers punched into the phone very quickly and that would work and I would not hear from them again. Why not try that? Or better yet, when you get a real person on the line tell them to remove your phone number from their call list. That works in 100% of the cases.

You should not get any more live or robot calls after you use the tips I've cited above.

This sounds like a company sending out junk faxes. Such transmissions are illegal. File a complaint with the FTC.

Thank you! I absolutely will try this. I did punch a bunch of numbers in just to aggravate their system but it didn't work. There is no message or person available when they call or when you try to call THEM.
