    Swollen & bruised... : (
    Okay, my boyfriend and I were having sex.. well I guess I got rough or something, but he said his penis was starting to hurt.. well we took off the condom and it was a little swollen.. well after a while we just thought he needed some time.. well about an hour later it started looking bruised and it still hurts and is still swollen.. any suggestions?

    Have him go to the doctor, it can actually be broken, but most likely just bruised. But it is best to have it checked.

    OUCH... I agree with Father Chuck... he should go to the doctor. Could the swelling be from an allergic reaction to latex or something else that was used? I guess that doesn't really explain the bruising though.

    I am not a doctor. I agree that your boyfriend should see a doctor. In the meantime, because it sounds to me like a possible ruptured blood vessel, an icepack might keep the swelling down and relieve discomfort. Always carefully wrap an icepack, never apply ice directly to skin and remove icepack every few minutes to prevent damage to tissue from the cold. If swelling continues an ER visit would be a good option.
