    Selling a judgment
    I have a judgement against an individual for about $12000.00 Are there companies that buy these kind of judgements The judgement wa awarded in Florida and will be filed in Florida and New York where she now resides. Thank you

    Even if you find someone to 'buy the debt' which I think is unlikely, and would probably take some legwork on your part, you will never recoup all of your money. The debt will be bought for so much on the dollar so you would have to decide how little you can take from the $l2000.
