Toilet - bowl water level low
Hello fellow Members, I've got an issue where the water level in my toilet bowl is lower than normal from when I first installed it a few months ago. I've recently changed my toilet to an American Standard Champion type with a class 4 flush. The thing works like a star but after a few months the water level in the bowl appears to drain down to where it is almost dry. I've checked for any sign of leaks and found no evidence of any water leaking onto the floor and don't know where else to look. Other then the water level in the bowl being low the toilet works and functions perfectly.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? Any ideas on what I should do?

Thank you in advance for any possible help. :D

You say that after a few months the water level in the bowl appears to drain down to where it is almost dry. Does that mean that it is not flushed int that few months or that this started after you had had it installed for a few months. I am going to assume the later.

I have installed commode bowls the did this and after taking them out and filling the bowl to the right level and watching it for a while I found a small hole in the trap of the bowl that let a very small amount of water to leak out of the bowl therefore lowering the water level.
