Harbor breeze fan remote control does not work
The remote contol does not operate the lights or fans.
I checked for power to the receiver and it was OK.
I changed all of the possible dip switch settings and none of the settings worked.
I changed the battery in the remote and the led on the remote lights up.
    Any suggestions

Make sure the pull chains for the light and fan on the fan itself are not set to the off position. Most fans have pull chains to operate the fan and lights from the fan motor, if these are both set in the off position the fan and light will never work from the wall switch and or remote. If those are OK and everything is wired correctly then I would suspect a faulty remote and or receiver...

"I changed all of the possible dip switch settings and none of the settings worked.
" that would be between 81 and 100 possible settings, not necessary to try them all just move all switches to ON for both receiver and transmiter. Use a test lead to be sure you have a hot black going into the fan receiver and then try the remotes to see if you get 120 v on the black and white coming out of the receiver or the blue and white
