    F1 Visa Application Querry
    Hi,

I am an Indian citizen who is in UK right now for the past 2yrs and 6months. I came here for my higher studies and I have a Master's now. Now I intend to go to USA on an F1 visa for an MBA. I would like to know if
1.) as an Indian citizen, can I apply for an F1 visa at the US embassy here in UK?

2.) my parents are my sponsors so, do I need to show the original FD certificates or would a letter from the bank be accepted as proof of sufficient funds?

3.) will I need to show an address proof here in UK?

4.) do I have to write my permanent address or current address in the address field in form DS-156?

5.) if I was a full time student in my home country before coming to UK should I leave the work history field or should I fill it with my work history here in UK?

    Thanks

If your UK student visa is valid for more than 6 months, you may apply for US student visa (F-1) at the US consulate in UK, if not, then you must apply from your home country.

Financial documents must be a current one.

You need to disclose ALL info about yourself, education, work experience, etc.
