    Emancipation in two different states
If I am 17 years old and currently live in the state of virginia and move to west Virginia to live with a family member and my job will be babysitting, can I still get emancipated?

You will have to get emancipated in the state where your custodial parent or guardian lives, since that is where you are suppose to be living.

You will in most places have to be earning enough money to pay for your own place to live ( not with a friend or family) and all your own expenses
