I need to know where I can get a cheap divorce from my husband without his consent. He left me 5 years ago and now I can't find him. I have meet someone else and he proposed. So before I can get married again I need to get a divorce. If anyone can help me please do. Thanks

It is not going to be fast, and it will certainly not be cheap.

You will have to file in the state you are living, if you can not find your ex then you will have to make an attempt to find him according to court rules, then put a notice in the legal section, that alone often costs over 1000 sometimes as over 1500 dollars just to do the publication. So it would be a lot better if you could actually find him.

But then you will have a hearing, and there may be a waiting period in some states.

So you are looking at months and 1000's of dollars

There is really no such thing as a "fast cheap divorce."

Nevada has the shortest residency requirement I know of--6 weeks--and they do process divorces fairly quickly of uncontested or by default. But you still have to serve your ex. And if you cannot find him you might wind up having to serve by publication which can be expensive ($1,000 - $2,000) and there's always a waiting period for an ad to run. Yours sounds like it will be neither fast nor cheap.
