    Dryer problem
I have a problem I have never ran across before and hope someone can help.
The heating element in my Amana dryer quit so I replaced it. Now I have another problem. The dryer heats up fine so I know the element is working but now my clothes take three hours to dry. Also, the inside of my dryer is like a swamp when I check the wet clothes. The humidity in the dryer feels like a greenhouse and the clothes of course are still wet. Before my old heating element went out I did not have this problem and nothing else has changed otherwise with the dryer. Has anybody heard of this? Thanks for any help anybody can give me. One last thing from me, my Amana washer & dryer have been major pieces of junk and I have fixed them both multiple times so if you are looking for something to buy, don't buy Amana.

Have you checked the exhaust vent? It needs to be open and clean.
