Look up the formula for Magnesium, Mercury, and Mercury(II) Nitrate.

Since Magnesium replaces Mercury in Mercury(II) Nitrate the equation must be:

    Magnesium + Mercury(II) Nitrate = Magnesium Nitrate + Mercury

    Right?

Replace the names with the formulas for the compounds, then balance the chemical equation.
