My periods been gone for 1yr and a 1/2
Well I've gone to the doctors and they said me not having my period is because of weight gain and said no further test needed to be done at the time.but trying to lose weight is hard for me,so I'm trying to find a way around it.I bleed very little every once in a while but its not even enough to get on my pantyliner.what can I do to regain my normal period?

You didn't say how much of a weight gain it was. Excess weight loss or gain can indeed cause a halt in the menstrual cycle. There is no quick fix to get your period back.

Just a thought but have you been checked for polycystic ovarian syndrome?
It can cause weight gain as well as very irregular periods.
