    Nj 1040 or nj 1040nr
    I am a student on f1 status since 2007 jan living at the same place in nj.do I have to file nj 1040 or nj 1040nr for the year 2008.

    File either one; the tax will be the same.

    As an international student, you have the option of claiming non-resident status due to your foreign student status.
