    I need to know the formula for computing total asset.

    "Formula" to get a total? Total means the same thing in accounting as it does in the rest of the world.

    Maybe there's something complicating whatever you're trying to do, but you asked how to get a total. If you actually need something else besides that, you would have to tell us what that was.
