    Furnace lights then shuts down
Our furnace will light, then seconds later will shut down... This started few weeks back. Used to turn on, then off, on, then off, and eventually it would keep running. It will NOT now... It is a York Diamond 80... Any help is greatly appreciated!

Does you furnace have a flame senser? If it does I would start by cleaning it.

Mygirlsdad is right, the flame sensor is a still metal wire that has one electrical lead and is in a ceramic pod. Try cleaning it with a fine grit sandpaper, you can take it out to do this, but do not try to bend or misshape it to get it back in place.
