    30-day notice
    On 3/25/09 I gave my roommate a 30 day written notice. ( I never signed a rental agreement) On 4/1/09 I paid the $800 month rent for April. I will be moving out on April 16. Am I entitled to money back (other than my deposit) for the 14 days I will not be there?

    If you rented month to month, no, you are not entitled to a refund UNLESS your "landlord" has replaced you as a tenant. He cannot collect from two tenants for the same space.
