    Summons mistake
    I received a traffic violation ticket which had a mistake. Would this ticket be dismissed? Should I still go to court to contest it?

    Hello star:

    I don't think the mistake will make the ticket go away. But, I do think you'll get a reduction in the fine.

    Depends.

    What is the nature of the mistake?

    Unless you receive a written notice that it has been dismissed, go to the court appearance.
