    Are windows mail and outlook compatible under vista system?

    Windows Mail is now known as "Windows Live Mail", and that is Vista-compatible. Newer versions of Outlook are also Vista-compatible.

    Outlook versions from at least Office 2000 will run under Vista. Windows Mail (Or Live Mail) is part of Vista.
