Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher - why are dishes still dirty?
Our one-year old Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher 665.1374 worked great for 6 months then started gradually cleaning more poorly.

Now most dishes are left with specks of food or grease on them -- baked on due to the heated dry!

The owner's manual wasn't much help -- everything checks out. It seems that a filter or hose is likely clogged. I've taken apart and reassembled dishwashers before, but am hoping that won't be necessary. We're going to try the "vinegar cure" but...

    1) what are some likely causes (soap, hot water, etc. all working fine)?

    2) how difficult is it to remove the screen, access the pump, etc?

    3) any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

Kenmore ultra wash quiet guard deluxe dishwasher is stuck in wash cycle [ 2 Answers ]

I got a kenmore ultra wash quiet guard deluxe dishwasher for Christmas. My husband installed it and it seems like it is stuck in the wash cycle. It ran for an hour and a half and it never drained, so we finally shut it off. Any suggestions?

Kenmore dishwasher, dishes come out dirty [ 2 Answers ]

So, here's the scoop. It is a one year old Kenmore, model FT1103259, that has been working fine until about a month ago. Glasses (especially) come out foggy and unclean. I use JET DRY and have changed brands of detergents, all without result. It appears that there is a filter or whatnot that...
