    Extension Form 4868 ?
    Hi,

I plan to file a extension (form 4868) for my 2008 tax return, then file 1040 instead of 1040NR. I know I due to tax refund, but I still haven't figure out the total tax liability yet.

    Questions:

    1) how accurate the estimate total tax liability need to be? Can I just put down a "figure" without going through the working, do they normally check to compared my return when I file it in the end?

    2) on Part 2 of form, there are two choice (No.8, No.9), they are not apply to me, should I leave it blank?

No.8 Check here if you are "out of country " and a U.S. citizen or resident
No.9 Check her if you file Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ and did not receive wages as an employee subject to US income tax withholding...

    3) Do I suppose to write down my reason in above doty line...

Thanks very much for your help.
