    I hate myself so much
    I'm a 15 year old girl
    I know it sounds young and don't say its hormones because this really isn't!
    I know I have a weight problem I'm overweight and it really gets me down
    I look in the mirror and it literally brings tears to my eyes
    I hate myself, no clothes ever fit, I have no friends, people talk to me at school but I have no real friends
    In my own time I end up resorting to self entertainment
    I have self harmed a few times
    I HATE MYSELF!
    What can I do?? :confused::confused::confused::confused:

    If wieght is your issue you can start by eating healthier, and starting some sort of exercise routine.

    A prove way to lose wieght is to get off your butt;)

    Are there any other issues [besides your body] that is causing you problems?

    How about you join some kind of health club? This way you can socialize as well and it will increase yourself esteem Or buy a fitness DVD and start to eat healthy like mudweiser sugested.

    If this really bothers you as much as you say it does, then do something about it!

    By the way I forgot to mention I have tried to lose the weight I've done allsorts I just can't get rid!

    The only way to lose wieght and keep it off is to exercise and eat right. Starving yourself and going through diet after diet just creates that yo-yo effect on your wieght and in the end you actually gain more than you lost.

    Go to VideoJug - Life Explained. On Film. and search: ab excercises, cardio, squats, etc. and you will find some great excercises you can do on a daily basis.

    Don't give up and don't quit- if this means so much to you to the point your hurting yourself then you can do it.

    P.S. It does take a while to get results!

    You can do it. You can be anything you want to be. Right now your chosing to let them win. Don't do it. I was over weight in high school. My friends and brothers picked on me. I went bulemic and then nearly starved myself. None of it was worth it in the end. Who cares what others think. If they don't want to be your friend for how you look on the outside then you can find better people to surround yourself with. A true friend will be by your side regardless of how you look. I am in a gym and its great. There are people of all sizes and ages there. Go do it. You will meet new people and have a great support team. Where are your parents in all of this? Aren't they seeing your upset?

    My parents know how I feel, but I don't get much support off them, they just sigh and say I'll get over it. But they don't understand how I feel

    The best way to beat someone is to prove them wrong. Join a school sports team, join the debate team, student council, volunteer [this will help you in the future], after school start jogging, join a gym [I just joined one for only 20$ a month], go on that site I gave you and practice pilates or yoga.

    Do 100 jumping jacks a day [any cardio daily will help you burn that fat]. Choose an apple over chips.

    Make healthier choices today not tomorrow.

    Well pity your parents. I agree with mudweiser, get off your butt! What are you doing sitting here typing to us crying about it?? Yes it feels good I understand. But please don't bring yourself down. There is only one person in this world that can change you, and guess what? That's you. We can listen and support you but you're the only one that can start the treadmill or lift that weight. Lose that weight and when those boys come knocking... tell them no!

    I felt the same way. And sometimes I still do. I know this sounds lame but things really do change a lot once you're out of school. I suggest trying excersise. Go for a walk everyday, or exercise for a half hour 2-3 times a week. It will help you feel better about yourself because you will be doing something positive. Excersise also releases endorphines and will help you feel less depressed. You could also seek therapy. A lot of people are overweight but don't hate themselves. There could be emotional/mental health issues here. I think it's great that you're asking for help.

    If your still in school they have to have a councilor you can talk to about this with out your parents knowlage. Its hard if they don't support you. If you are over weight and eat allot of sweets then your diet can make you feel depresed. I'm not saying you have to loose weight but you have to be healthy exercise is great walking jump rope etc and just making better food choices then your energy will pick up and soon you aill feel a diffrence in your attitudes too.     Besides doing exercise and eating well, eat lots of fibres from vegetables and cereals. These will help you feeling less hungry (if you feel so and eat a lot because of this) and remove excess food. Drink fruit juices and lots of water.

    Never give up, and there's no point hating yourself for being overweight. If you really want to be happy, do things so as to make you happy, even though it might be difficult.
    Efforts are always rewarded.

    Hi... I know just how you feel, my son is the same, he has tried several diets.

    The truth of the matter is... if you eat more than you use up during each day then it will turn to fat, so start by thinking what you can cut out... all those little things that you nibble on... you may not now but it's what you've done in the past.

    Many people say join this or that, but my bet is you'd be to embarrassed, mostly slim people attend gyms which of course will make you feel self conscious, if that doesn't bother you then by all means go for it.

    My son did the next best thing regarding exercise... he bought a exercise bike,stepup, rowing machine etc... all in his bedroom that you can now not walk around but hay! Who cares as long as he can exercise without ridicule and it works... brilliant.

    If you cannot get a bike etc... there are other things that you can do in the privacey of your room... put your toes under the bed and pull yourself up pulling your tummy in,do this as maney times as you can comfortably, gradually building up.

    Get a sturdy box and step up with alternate legs tightening your bottom as you go.

    You can also jog on the spot and add general stretching... remember all these things will use up calories, it doesn't have to be expensive equipment.

    Don't eat after 6.00 at night.

    Cut out snacks between meals.

    Only have diet or zero drinks.

    Ask for your meal to be served on a slightely smaller plate... trust me you will not notice.

    Lastly... don't expect miracles over night it will take a while.

    Stay off the scales... if you feel hungry, fill up with vegatables and drink plenty of water.

    Remember a moment in the mouth a month on the hips...
