    violation of probation
    In Pinellas County, FL, there is a point system. Apparently, the more points one has, the jail or prison time is extended. How do we find out how many points someone has? The person I am questioning is my soon to be ex husband. He is currently on a 86 hour hold in county jail.

    His sentence will be reverting back to his original sentencing stipulations. Only the Judge will be able to decide just how much longer he is to be in jail after his VOP hearing. The point system you are inquiring about is basically used for presentencing info - not VOP's. This is not just Pinellas County, it is all of Florida.
