The father of my2 year old son is not on the birth cirtificate and is unknown in all areas. My partner wants to adopt my son but wedontknow how to go about this properly. Does any one know how?

It is going to be determined by what relation your partner is to you and the state that you reside in.

In most states, you must be legally married to your partner for at least a year and there is a process to go about finding the biological father.

Do you know who he is? Because like it or not, he has rights in this.
