    ER Finale
Just saw the last episode of ER. What a great end to a great show. It had a great 15 season run and was by far the best medical show in TV history.

Yes, it was amazing!! I thought it was funny that Rachel came back, because they couldn't get Mark (because obvioussly he's well... dead). But that was such a good idea, all the originals togeather again.
    I can't believe it's over.
I hate to admit this but... I cried for ten whole minutes when it was over, because it's been on since I was three years old and I've watched it every Thursday since I was eight. I'm 18 now and I hope to start med school in two years.

It was a gem. My favorite moment was when Rachel said hello to Frank. The look on Frank's face as he recognized her was priceless. And the look on Rachel's face as Carter called her Dr Green and asked if she was coming at the very end was, In my opinion, the perfect wrapup.

But I have a question for earl. Where are you that you saw the whole thing so early. I'm on the east coast and you posted your note only a half hour into the show??

It sure was great. I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I'm in the Atlantic time zone. It was aired from 8 p.m. to 10 on a Canadian channel. The Canadian channel didn't air the one hour retrospective but I taped it on the American NBC channel from 9 to 10.

The finale was fantastic. For some reason I was not surprised to see Rachel, but I agree with Scott, Frank's face was, well shocked to say the least. And the smile on Rachel's face when Carter called her Dr. Green was priceless.

I also liked when Carter looked up at the opening of the Carter Center and saw Kem.

    I'm already having ER withdrawals.

Such a shame it is over. It had a good run though.

I had read somewhere that Rachel was going to be in the finale, so I was looking for that. But the look on Frank's face as recognition set in and gruff old Frank trying to suppress that smile and a tear was so absolutely perfect. I'd like to know how many takes that took.
