    Trig functions equations
I'm having trouble with these equations that my math teacher gave me:

    sin(beta) over csc(beta) + cos(beta) over sec(beta)= 1

    1+csc(beta) over sec(bate) - cot(beta)= cos(beta)

    and

    1+cos(beta) over sin(beta)+ sin(beta) over 1+cos(beta)= 2csc(beta)

Can anyone help me? I'm so confuzzled

Almost always when you're given problems that have secant, cosecant, or cotangent the first thing to try is to substitute the basic definitions and see if you can work things from there. Here, for your first problem just replace csc(B) with 1/sin(B), and replace sec(B) with 1/cos(B). You should be able to get it from there.

As for the second problem - for clarity you should include parentheses when writing equations like this, but otherwise it's hard to tell what it is. I think what you mean is:

Combine the two fractions into one, and see where it leads you.

Yeah, it is supposed to be like that, but the computer I was one wouldn't let me write equations. Thanks, though. It helped out a lot!
