Will I need to take provera again after Clomid?
[F] Hello, my husband and I are trying to conceive our second child and my periods are very irregular since quitting birth control over 2 years ago. I took Provera to induce my period which started on March 1st 2009. I started Clomid on March 5th -March 9th. I am still waiting to see if I could be pregnant despite a recent negative PT. It was probably to soon to take one. Anyway, my question is, Do you think that the one course of Provera I took will keep my periods regular ( I did ovulate this cycle) or will I need to take another course before doing the Clomid again? (That is if I don't get pregnant this time around). Please does someone know? Thank You.

It depends on how 'screwed up' your cycle is. I have been on Provera every month for about 6 months, and I have just started the Clomid this month. I do not get a period monthly without the Provera, and I haven't ovulated in the 6 months that I've been taking the Provera and doing a BBT chart. So it all depends on you, your cycle, and your doctor. I know this answer kind of stinks, and it's not a definite yes or no, but everyone's answer will be different because everyone is different.
