The pump is 1" a male 1" pvc adapter screws into the pump okay. But
The other end of the adapter needs a male 5/8 threaded part to screw into a garden hose .

    Hi Oneill474:

I would call that a BRASS 1" male x male hose adapter or a 1" male x female hose adapter.

They should be able to make something like that up at a local plumbing supply store. You could also make it from parts at home depot.

You may just need to start with a 1" brass nipple to a 1"x3/4" reducing coupling and then install a 3/4" male x 3/4" male hose fitting (see 1st pic.)... or could also go to a 1/2" male x female hose adapter (3rd pic.) with a 1" x 1/2" reducing coupling. The 2nd pic. is a 1/2" female x male hose adapter... another option with a 1/2" brass nipple.

    Hope that helps...

I've got a leaky hose bib that says PRIER on the body of the bib. I'm guessing PRIER is the name of the company that made it. It is a frost proof bib and it leaks only when it is turned on. It leaks around where the stem (part with the handle on it) screws into the bib body (part that is...
