My parents haven't completed their 07 or 08 tax returns, can I still get financial aid
I'm in my second semester at college and am supposed to be on a full tuition scholarship, but because my parents haven't completed their 2007 or 08 tax returns (despite over a year of begging and empty promises) I can't receive any of that money or any financial aid. I believe I've lost the scholarship as well because of it. The FAFSA for last year was completed as well as my 2007 taxes. Because times are tough I've had to pay for a lot, and I'm working ten hours a week and going to school full time. I'm living at home still and am still considered dependent. So many of my friends have gotten so much help with financial aid, and I know I'd receive just as much if my parents ever thought about the benefits. Is there any way I can receive financial aid without their tax returns?

Your parents will just have to get with the program and file their taxes for you to benefit from the scholorship terms. Otherwise you'll have to pay out of your own pocket.

Correct, they will have to file their returns, ( which they should be doing anyway) So talk with them and ask them if they wish to write you a check or file their taxes

A Tat Not Completed... Do I have To Pay? [ 5 Answers ]

Back in September of last year I had my first tattoo done. I got a bit over ambitious and decided to have it all done at once.
