    Metoprolol and donate blood plasma
    Is it safe to donate blood plasma if you are on 25 mg of metoprolol?

    I think not, because of two reasons:

    (1) Metoprolol is given to a patient of hypertension to reduce blood pressure and hypertensives are not allowed to donate blood or blood fractions.

    (2) The Recipient will feel the effect of the drug, as it will remain active in the donated plasma for many hours.
