    Purchasing the correct thermostat
Need help picking the correct replacement Thermostat. I have a Coleman Evcon 2 stage Heat pump in a Mobil Home. It has 2 mercury switches and an Emergency Heat Switch. I also have an Energy Saver System on this house that limits the on peak KW. It controls the Heat/Air, Hot water heater, and Electric dryer. It prevents them from all starting at the same time. My only requirements are: 7 day programming & Auto switching from heat to cool. Touch screen & remote would be a bonus. My current Thermostat has 7 wires: Y=yellow, G=green, R=Red, O=Orange, W2=White, E=Brown, C=Black. I believe the E=Brown goes to the Energy Saver but I’m not sure. My serviceman for this system is scheduled to be here some time next week and I will check with him on that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Skip L.

Your service man should be able to help you ,since he (I`m guesseing ) is the one that's going to install the tstat . Sounds like something the average home owner shouldn`t attempt . Its not going to be a cheap tstat that's for sure,, and I sure with all the information you have listed,, Honeywell can match a suitable tstat to your liking and needs,, goodluck
