    Low Hot Water Pressure
    Hi,

We have recently just fixed a small leak in the pipe to the hot water cylinder, but since this has happened we have noticed that the hot water pressure has dropped quite considerably in the shower. We have checked for additional leaks and there are none, and also the pressure was fine before the leak was fixed. At a loss of what to do.

    Cheers

What you have dobe is to dislodge some mineral buildup on the pipe wall and noe your valve has sucked it up into it where it's now clogging the inlet ports on your showers cartridge.
The solution wouls be to shut the water off, open up the valve, remove the cartridge and clean the inlet ports. You do have a one handle mixing valve don't you? To be more specific I will have to know the brand name of the valve,(a model # would be nice), and it's age. Good luck, Tom
