    Inheritance law California
If my father (Californian citizen) dies and leaves per his will all his property to my step-mother, do I as his son receive a minimum share/amount?

What happens when my step-mother dies? Am I automatically eligible for the inheritance?

If your father leaves everything to your step mother, you are entitled to whatever she feels like giving you.

Its his money - he can give it to whomever he wants.

When she dies, it goes to whomever SHE leaves it to.
