    Charity organizations for the deaf
My borther is a deaf. He is 20 years old. He graduated from College of Art. He and his deaf friends has opened an art gallery to sell pictures for living. They are in a very difficult time and need help for surviving. Are there any charity organizations for the deafs to help them overcome this hard period?
    Thank you.

    Hi, TTPCHI!

Are you in the U.S. or somewhere else, please? It will help those who come along to address your question if they could know about the location.

    Thanks!

    Hi again, TTPCHI!

Here is the link to one organization that you might want to contact in order to maybe get help or ideas for help.

WFD : World Federation of the Deaf

Hopefully, others will also come along to address your question.

    Thanks!

    Dear Clough,
I have already contacted this address. But all I know is that in Vietnam, we do not have a national association for the deafs, so we could not participate or reveive some help from WFD.
Thank you very much for your enthusiasm.

You say that you did contact them. Did they reply to you?

Perhaps they might know of an organization that is in your country that could help you and your brother?

    Thanks!

    Hi, Clough!
I sent email to the board members of WFD, but until now, I have not received any replies from them.
My deaf brother and his 6 deafs friends paint pictures everyday. They have already painted a lot of pictures but they can not sell them. They really need money to buy materials for paiting and survive.

    Hi again, TTPCHI!

Then right now, it's probably best to be patient and wait for a response from the World Federation of the Deaf.

    Thanks!

If you might not get a response the first time, you can always try again.

I'm sure that they get a lot of people sending them inquiries about this or that.

    Thanks!
