    Many here will opine their favorite manufacturers but I think all will agree that installation is key. A bad install can take a superior brand (whatever that is) and have it perform terrible. There is some consensus that Goodman quality has risen in years, and also a school of thought that since so many parts are shared across all major manufacturers there is no longer significant difference from one to another.
