Moved in December, am I part time resident
I got married and moved to Iowa, I didn't get Iowa drivers license till December because you have to live in Iowa a month to establish residency or have a job in Iowa which I did not. I worked and lived in Illinois from January 2008 through October 2008, then I didn't get a job in Iowa till January 2009. Can I claim full time because I only worked in Illinois last year and don't need to file in Iowa or part time resident?

You do not have any Iowa income so will not report any income.
You have IL income and file as part year resident up to Oct 2008.

If you are present in a state, then any income earned during this period, must be reported to the state.

To your resident state, you must report your worldwide income for the year.
