    Old tax return
    Hi there..

    Background:
I worked in US till Feb 2006 and then I left for my home country. I came back to US for my further studies in July 2006 and went back again for my internship in my home country. I started working in US again after I graduated in May 2008.

Question: I forgot to file my tax returns in 2006 and this is 1st time I am going to file my tax returns after my graduation. I have my current W2 form but I don't have 2006 one. How should I approach my current filing?

    Thanks
    Jp

You must file all the past returns if your income exceeded the filing requirements. Try to get past years W2s from your employers. Read Your U.S. Tax Return: How to Get Missing Forms W-2 and 1099
